A Senior Health Fair & Craft Show will be held on
Thursday, May 10 from 8 a.m. until noon at Laurel Park's Lancer Hall located on 58 East.

The fair, a joint effort between Martinsville Senior Services, Henry Co. Parks & Rec, and various sponsors.continues the tradition of honoring
older individuals and their contributions to Martinsville and Henry County.

One exciting feature of the new www.Martinsville.biz is our "User Posted News" feature. This feature permits registered users of the website to submit and self approve news and announcements in a variety of categories. Available categories include "Community & Civic Organizations", "Churches & Religous Groups", "Charitable Organizations", "Local Business News", "Local Schools & Educational Institutions", "Sports & Recreation", "Death Notices & Obituaries", "Job Promotions, Awards & Honors", "Governmental", "Birth Announcements", "Marriages", "Fairs & Festivals", and "Local News." This feature also allows us, upon reciept of a request from you, to create a special subcategory for any individual group, and the ability to post and approve news under this subcategory can be restricted to members of your group designated by you.

We have the ability to create subcategories under each of our main categories. If your organization, business, sports team, or other group desires to make regular use of this website feature, please contact us and request that we establish a seperate subcategory under the appropriate category - this will aid visitors and your members to locate the latest news and announcements of your group. If you send us an electronic .gif or .jpg picture or image of your facility or logo, we can post that so that it appears with the Section devoted to your organization or group.
